Trekking in Liguria is a very particular experience. The trekking paths in Sanremo and in the other valleys of the hinterland can be walked all year. There are paths near the city, that offer the possibility to walk enjoying a view on the sea, and there are more internal paths, in the heart of the Ligurian Alps, that reach the 2200 meters of the Monte Saccarello, the highest peak in Liguria.

The bike path of the Parco Costiero della Flowers Riviera is 24 kms long through sea and nature, it has been realised along the ex Ponente Ligure railway line and it’s the ideal context for bike excursions and for the many sport activities. In addition, there is the possibility to rent bikes: Nolobici bike rental makes 300 bikes available for the rental.
Running in Sanremo and in its hinterland means running near the hills just behind the city of flowers, or wearing shoes and running from the coast, along the cliffs, to the slope of Monte Saccarello, 2200 meters high, the highest peak in Liguria.
The southern exposure and the presence of mule tracks and firebreaks that enters in the wood slopes, with a sandy ground, stimulate the desire to go horse riding on a day trip, starting from the existing S.Romolo stables that offers operational support and, if necessary, accompanying.

The Pelagos Cetaceans Sanctuary is a marine protected area between Liguria and Corsica, the natural habitat of the big Mediterranean Cetaceans. The excursion on the motor vessel, which lasts about 4 hours, will bring you to meet the mammals that live in our sea: from the dolphins to the whales.
